Covid-19 Vaccine Policy for 2022 Programs
For International and Alaska Programs
Participants are required to have received all doses of a Covid-19 vaccine and submit proof of vaccination at least 120 days prior to the start of their climb. This can be done directly by email to imgregistration@mountainguides.com
For Domestic Programs (Lower 48 Programs)
We expect participants to have received all doses of a Covid-19 vaccine prior to the start of their program. Vaccinated participants must submit a copy of their vaccination card 120 days from the start of their program.
Those who plan to remain unvaccinated will need to get a Covid-19 PCR test performed by a laboratory within 3 days of the start of their program. If participants plan on utilizing this option, we must receive notification of this plan 120 days from their start date and receive an electronic copy of the negative test results no less than 12 hours prior to the commencement of their program; participants cannot show up with test results in hand. Unvaccinated individuals will be required to avoid sharing indoor spaces with other participants during their program; this means that unvaccinated climbers will be provided a separate locale from other climbers to sleep in during the climb and will be required to eat separately from vaccinated climbers.
All participants, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to complete a health-screening upon the commencement of their program.
Both vaccination cards and/or Covid-19 negative PCR tests performed by a laboratory can be submitted directly to imgregistration@mountainguides.com
Please note that due to the unpredictable nature of the Covid-19 pandemic, there exists a possibility that local/state/national mandates will change such that they will alter the above policy.
