IMG Denali, LLC | McKinley Expedition General Policies

SCHEDULED PAYMENTS

1. Registration Fee: Non-refundable US$1,500 Registration Fee per person is due with registration for scheduled McKinley programs, payable by Visa, Master Card, Discover Card or American Express. Your registration fee holds your space on the program until 180 days prior to the Scheduled Program Arrival Date.
2. Installment Payment: Non-refundable US$3,500 installment payment per person is due 180 days prior to the Scheduled Program Arrival Date, payable by check or bank wire only. The Installment Payment continues to hold your space on the program until 120 days prior to the Scheduled Program Arrival Date.
3. Final Payment: The Final Payment includes the Balance of Remaining Fees + Mandatory NPS Fees and is due no later than 120 days prior to your Scheduled Program Arrival Date, payable by check or bank wire only.

FULL PAYMENT of all program fees and mandatory NPS fees is due with registration if registering within 120 days of the Scheduled Program Arrival Date.

Failure to pay any fees on or before the payment due date will constitute default by the Participant and result in forfeiture of registration for their Program and forfeiture of all fees paid.

CANCELLATION

IMG DENALI, LLC requires written (email) notification of cancellation by Participants. All program and mandatory NPS fees paid to IMGD are non-refundable and non-transferable without exception.

EARLY EXIT

An Early Exit/Evacuation fee of $800 will be charged to Participants needing to be escorted from the mountain before the conclusion of the program and separated from the remaining team.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Due to our no-refund policy, Travel Insurance is strongly advised and should include coverage for trip cancellation, interruption and travel delay as an avenue for Participants to recoup potential financial loss, emergency medical and ambulance expense. DATE CHANGE

Any request to change the Selected Program of equal or greater value and/or Scheduled program date is at IMGD's sole discretion and strictly subject to program availability only during the current climbing season. A request to change the Selected Program must be made in writing at least 120 days prior to the Scheduled Program Date. No date changes are allowed within 120 days of the Scheduled program date. Any program change allowed will be subject to a $400 Program Change fee per person plus any increase of Program Fee arising from change to a higher priced program.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Participants must be a minimum of 18 years old at registration to participate as an adult. Please contact our office if you have questions regarding participation of minors accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.

SUMMIT ATTEMPT

IMG DENALI, LLC does not guarantee that you will summit the mountain. Many factors contribute to the overall success of the attempt including weather, route conditions, hazards, and each Participant’s personal fitness level, abilities and safety. A Participant’s failure to summit the mountain for any reason will not result in any refund or credit.

ZERO TOLERANCE HARASSMENT POLICY

IMG DENALI, LLC does not tolerate harassment or mistreatment of our participants or employees. Inappropriate conduct under this policy may include conduct that creates a disrespectful, intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment for a participant or employee. Engaging in such conduct is a violation of this policy and may result in immediate removal from a program and our refusal to provide services indefinitely. Please report any incidents to IMGD management.
