Dear IMG, and Mr. Simonson, I am following closely the M&I Research Expedition. I felt moved by Eric's report on "Taking the Heat", concerning your efforts on Mt Everest this season. As I am planning three forays into the Colorado Rockies this summer, backpacking into rugged areas in the Collegiate Peaks area, I found inspiration to continue my training and preparations to execute these trips by reading Eric's essays. What enormous life's lessons we learn in these things! Thanks so much, and Good Luck with the Expedition, be brave, and come home safe!!
