UPDATE Wed April 11
Camp 5 Established

Today Kami, Da Chirree, Fu Dorje, Lhakpa Nuru (Phortse), Ngawang Jimba, Palden, Pema Tenzi, and Pemba Geljin succeeded in establishing Camp 5. Taking advantage of reasonable weather, they were able to push the fixed ropes the rest of the way into camp, as well as carry tents and oxygen up to this crucial camp. Tomorrow they will try to do the same thing again. These guys are amazing!!

After taking a rest day at ABC yesterday, Panuru and his crew did a carry today to the Col. Tomorrow they will move up to the Col to reinforce Kami and his team. Brent, Dave, Andy, and Jake are descending to BC today after several days at the Col.
