Simonson's Expedition Logs:

32 yaks head up today with the third yak train (56 on first, 42 on second). Eight Sherpas came down last night from ABC along with JR. Brent is coming down today. Dave is staying up at ABC to manage the Sherpas up there who are continuing to carry to the col and start on the route to C5. Here is the synopsis:

March 29
Dave, Tap, Andy and 6 Sherpas establish route to the North Col. Brent, JR, Jake rest at ABC. 42 yaks start back up to IC / ABC. Jochen and Lee to IC.

March 30
Tap to Col, Brent and Andy re-fixed route, Sherpas rest day. Lee and Jochen rest at IC. Jason and first clients arrive BC. Yaks to ABC.

March 31
Andy and Tap to BC. Dave, JR, Brent to Col. Sherpas carry to Col. Lee and Jochen to BC. CJ and second group of clients to BC. Yaks return to BC.

April 1
JR to BC. Dave and Brent re-organize ABC. 8 Sherpas to BC, 8 Sherpas to Col, Kelsong to ABC.

April 2
Dave to Col. Sherpas rest. 32 Yaks to IC, Dorje, Ang Gelzen, Kami Rita to IC with them.
